My name is Josh Hodgetts, i was brought up in a little town called Cheslyn Hay in the UK, for many many years, i spent every waking second on my good ol' trusty PS1.
The common case with the Playstation 1 at the time, was that, i ALWAYS, had 10-40 brand new games to play, this is how i did it:
On a sunday morning, in the UK, there are things called "Car Boot" sales, these are giant market type places, where people would load their cars/vans/trucks up with old/new items they want to get rid of, and of course, where theres families, there are dvd/video game stalls.
One christmas day, i came downstairs to find a smallish box, i opened it up to find the first video game system i ever owned, a PSX.
So since that trusty year, i played and played that playstation day in, day out.
Now, how i got all those games?
Well, when the playstation was about to reach the end of its life time, there was so many people out there that wanted to sell copied/pirated PSX games, and i was bewildered by the amount of games there were lying down (300-600 easy) and since this was illegal, there was ALWAYS police raiding the stalls, and since there was so many games, the sellers just gave up.
So nearly every weekend, i would go down to the car boot, with my little action man backpack, and cram as many ps1 games i could get my little 5 year old hands on!
So to this date, i have over 500 psx games, yeah they aren't real, but when your 5 and you have all the latest games out, you really didn't care :D
